W.I.N.E - Full Day
(Workplace Interactions, Negotiations and Emotional Intelligence)
|
Course Outline
The W.I.N.E. full day workshop is designed as a positive, refreshing and empowering opportunity for leaders in organisations to meet identified professional development needs. The greatest need identified by current employees and employers is to learn how to communicate more effectively.
Furthermore learning is most effective when the learner is self motivated to learn and does so by doing. Participants are coached in many situations to develop emotional competencies and to refine interpersonal skills using the principles of effective learning. Consequently interactive exercises in the workshop progress from modeling and sharing emotionally intelligent tools/techniques, to rehearsal in small groups to a final showcase of performances in a supportive whole group.
Throughout the day the presenters will model interpersonal qualities, emotional competencies and skills that draw upon underlying humanistic and behavioural models. For example qualities from the humanistic model include openness, empathy, supportiveness, positivity and equality. From behavioural models, confidence, immediacy, interaction management, self-monitoring, expressiveness, attentiveness, interest and concern for others.
This course is designed primarily for Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders, however will also benefit all employees.
